Yesterday I deleted almost everything from partition D of my hard drive. My friend told me that he can do something weird with the hard drive; he got back everything from the hard drive which I had deleted. After all, he told me that he had used some recovery software for getting the deleted data. However, recovery data sometimes become humiliating, because everyone wants to conceive the personal data, that’s why if he/she deletes the data, it can easily be recovered later on by another user. However, I want to sale my desktop computer with hard drive. Your data will be still there, even if you formatted it 100 times. To wipe your data completely, just follow these steps.

When you delete or format data off your drive, it is not completely erased.
Deleted/Formatted data can be recovered through recovery softwares.
If you overwrite the data, it can still be recovered by means of some softwares.

Your operating system doesn’t have any facility to wipe your data permanently from your hard drive.
